Ushers
Any act of Christian service, which helps direct men and women into fellowship with Jesus Christ, is a ministry. An ushers meaningful contribution to the Worship Service, assisting others, is vital and far-reaching.
We have a team of men, women and teenagers who represent our church as ushers here at All Nations Community Church. They provide:
- Service to God
- The usher is an extension of the Pastor, yet a direct representative of God.
- The visibility of the Lord Himself to the natural eye will be reflected through the usher. Applying him/herself to the ministry in a manner that will display the fruits of the Spirit is a must.
 - Service to the Pastor
- To the Pastor, the usher is his right arm. The Pastor is not able to greet everyone who walks through the doors; personally collect the offering; then visit with everyone who attends our services. Therefore, the Pastor relies heavily upon his ushers.
- As an usher, you need to know the burden of the ministry; see as the Pastor sees; and respond and talk to the worshipper as the Pastor does.
- The usher makes a significant difference in helping prepare the newcomer and the newborn Christian for ministry.
 - Service to Worshipers
- The usher is a key person; whether greeting, getting a prayer request card, passing out gifts to visitors, finding a seat or directing someone to another area. Believers and unbelievers look to the usher for help. Exceed their expectations by your actions and attitude.
- Kindness, courtesy and consideration are ways to break down all kinds of barriers and prepare people to receive from God.
