Upper Room (Antioch) For Young Adults
Antioch Ministries exists to persuade and equip single and married young adults to be authentic and passionate followers of Jesus Christ. Antioch’s focus is on ministering to 18 through 35 year olds in our congregation by emphasizing genuine encounter with God, relational discipleship and regular fellowship and service. There are a variety of ministry expressions including the following:
- THE UPPERROOM is a regular ministry time that takes place at ANCC and in homes all across the southern suburbs. Meetings include worship, mutual edification through Spiritual gifts and testimonies, and various forms of instruction. Check the calendar of events for meeting times and place.
- Discipleship Groups — Groups of various sizes and compositions meet regularly for Bible study, accountability and prayer. These are very relational in orientation, and intend to strengthen friendships as well as shape the heart and mind. See the calendar of events for our next gathering.
- House Churches — In order to provide a functioning forum for expression of fellowship, Spiritual gifts, and Scriptural study, Antioch sponsors “house church” meetings in various cities and at various times throughout the year. These consist of singles, married couples and young families who gather for encouragement and pursuit of God. Our goal is to be a reflection of the Body of Christ on a smaller, more intimate level.
